Ceremony by Marriage Celebrant Jane Harvey, Embracing Hearts. Renewal of vows can be conducted at wedding anniversary celebrations, birthdays or any time of the year! This ceremony is the perfect way to remind that special person in your life that you are just as much in love with them today as you were on your wedding day. I previously officiated at a renewal of vows for a couple at the husbands 50th Birthday party. He had lost his wedding ring months prior and upon the purchase of the new ring he felt that it did not have the same meaning as the other ring. Hence the couples need for a renewal of vows ceremony. The husband commented on how happy he was that his new ring had precious meaning.
